Jim Kellen
Jim is strategic marketing leader with 25 years of domestic and international experience driving results, building brands, developing teams and leading organizational change. He specializes in developing and optimizing brand strategy driven through consumer insights and data. For our clients, Jim identifies the open space in the market that best aligns our clients’ brands with both existing and new consumers. He has worked both client and agency side with a myriad of businesses such as Beaver Creek, Vail, Coors Light, Robert W. Baird, E&J Gallo and CBS. When he is not developing marketing solutions, Jim is usually found on the ski slopes, golf course or with his family.

Will McKeand
As a strategic, creative thinker and leader, Will has been inspiring consumers to click, buy, and evangelize for brands for over twenty years. More than a creative director and copywriter, Will is a dot connector – connecting brands from startups to Fortune 500s with their consumers in categories from outdoor apparel, travel, healthcare, and tech to action motor sports, beer, pet, and baby care.

Matt Hawley
Matt is our dear friend and the creative mind that founded Open Space in 2016. The world was robbed of his infectious laugh, giant heart and brilliant mind in 2022, but his creative spirit, love of big ideas, and passion for wide open spaces both in the great outdoors and in the world of advertising live on in us all.

Bruce Edwards
With over 30 years in the industry, Bruce is no stranger to giving big-name brands big-time presence. Target. Time Warner Cable. Select Comfort. Best Buy. General Mills. He’s helped them (and many more) evolve creatively through every tactic from corporate identity to packaging design to websites to national television spots — the latter of which has provided him the pleasure of working with celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Ray Romano, and a little actor you may have heard of named Morgan Freeman.
Beyond creating and spearheading the work as a designer and Creative Director, Bruce has also won awards for it, appearing in Communication Arts, Graphis, Art Directors Annual, HOW and more. (All of that, and he still gets compliments for being a “normal” creative person.) In his spare time, you’ll likely find Bruce out on the links — continuing his quest to play the top 100 golf courses on his bucket list. He’s currently at number 63.

Tracy Coleman
Behind the bright smile and infectious energy is a dangerously savvy marketer and business leader. For starters, Tracy has launched more brands than should be legal. Working on big, international clients like MillerCoors, Nissan and Pepsi (to name a few). She’s helped introduce the world to Redd’s Apple Ale (Nielsen’s Innovative Brand of the Year), Nissan X-Terra, Naked Cold Press Juices and more. She also wears inspiration on her sleeve and offers it to anyone in need. Her leadership experience in marketing and consulting steps from fashion to auto to artificial intelligence and includes organizational, brand and innovation expertise. In short, she’s a force to be reckoned with that you’ll actually want to hang out with.

Juan Cabera
Juan is an experienced Bilingual Creative with a demonstrated history of wowing and activating both English and Spanish speaking audiences around the world. Skilled in Advertising Strategy, Bilingual Copywriting, Integrated Marketing, and Social channel arts, Juan creates compelling communications campaigns and content that cross cultures and create results.

Maureen McCauly
Maureen is a producer and brand consultant with 15 years worth of experience in commercial production, brand strategy, and account management. With a broad-reaching agency background and extensive leadership and management experience, she brings a unique approach to the business, always keeping the creative vision at the forefront, while listening to clients and managing their brands and budgets with the highest level of attention and support. As a trusted creative partner with a network that spans the globe, she will work tirelessly to bring your vision to life on time, on budget, and on brand.

Rob Borland
Rob is a results-driven marketing leader with experience in building brands and generating commercial results in consumer products, beverages, health care, technology and sports categories. He has held senior marketing roles in the US, UK, Europe and Asia, and served as Chief Marketing Officer for Molson-Coors International, USA Cycling and Denver Health.
During his thirty-year career, he has gained extensive experience spanning all aspects of performance marketing, brand building and innovation. He is a specialist in developing insight-driven marketing and innovation strategies built around brand purpose, and generating commercial results through rigorous 360-degree execution.

Monique VanAsch Dermer
Monique has been leading creative teams and building brands for decades with clients and creatives who share her passion for doing great work. She prioritizes a collaborative culture; enabling smart, strategic, creative ideas to come to life in a big way—for big dogs and underdogs alike. She is an award-winning Creative and business owner with 20+ years of experience working with brands such as MillerCoors, Smashburger, Coca Cola, Universal Studios, Vail Resorts, Danone Foods, and many others. Monique is always up for catching live music, traveling with her family, or “networking” on her snowboard.

Sara Robins
Sara is a Graphic Designer and Adobe Creative Suite expert, who ensures that the final product looks as beautiful as it was first envisioned. Sara is an expert in developing print-ready artwork, retouching, color correction, creating fully developed packaging artwork, and preparing assets for web banners and ads. Sara is a fantastic partner that thrives in a team environment and enjoys collaborating with others so that everyone succeeds.

Ray is a passionate creative with over two decades of experience wowing clients with arresting and impactful design. Much more than a master pixel pusher, Ray is a strategic thinker and resourceful maker who finds ways to pull off the seemingly impossible.
